Day 1: Understanding Headaches and Migraines

  • Identifying red flags and when to refer

Afternoon Session: Diagnosis and Assessment

  • History taking and physical examination

  • Introduction to diagnostic criteria and tools

  • Basic manual techniques for headache relief (Articulation/Muscle Energy/Positional Release)

Day 2: Basic Treatment Strategies

Morning Session: Manual Techniques in Treatment

  • Introduction to manual medicine: principles and ethics

  • Basic manual techniques for headache relief (Articulation/Muscle Energy/Positional Release)

  • Safety considerations and contraindications

Afternoon Session: Integrating Other Therapies

  • Overview of pharmacological treatment options

  • Nutritional and lifestyle considerations

  • Introduction to Cranial techniques with clinical correlations (Part 1 Posterior Quadrant)

Day 2: Exercise and Patient Education

Morning Session: Exercise Prescription

  • Basic exercises for headache and migraine patients

  • Introduction to the HEADSTRONG program

  • Tailoring exercise programs to individual needs

Afternoon Session: Patient Education and Self-Management

  • Strategies for patient education
